After decanting for a couple of hours this wine revealed a beautiful nose of dark fruits, a silky smooth mouthfeel and again the lovely rich (but not overly done) dark fruits. Great wine.

Utopo's wines are close to my heart. Kym Teusner is a wizard and manages his vineyard locations in the best way. 2018 in particular is perhaps the best vintage in the Barossa Valley in many years. I'am more fond of Kym's Cabernet Sauvignon, MSG and Cabernet / Shiraz than this wine. But this is very good, but it requires its time. Toto je víno, ktoré sa mňe páči, proste môj štýl. Dekantované 4 hodiny, krásne aromatické prejavy, černice, maliny,rýbezle, vanilka,aníz,zem a kokos! Chuťovo ideálne kyslé, svieže,bez ťažkých tónov. Pomer kvality a ceny - Top. Keby som nevedel čo to stojí , typoval by som 80-130 €. Naozaj vrelo doporučujem.

Top quality Shiraz! Huge nose with coffee and chocolate. Lots of berries on the palette. Not at all overdone. Great balance. A true food wine 👍

My first Shiraz from Utopos Winery, have drunk almost everything else from Utopos. Kym Teusner's wines are top quality in the Barossa Valley. The vineyard is located on Roennfeldt Road, between Greenock and Marananga. Vintage 2018 was a top year in the Barossa Valley, their Shiraz is very good now, but will be even better in 3-5 years. Needs at least 2 - 3 h in a decanter, but what a wonderful fruit, precise tannins and powerful acidity. This proves …

Even after a two hour decant still very much tightly wound making an assessment somewhat challenging . It’s big and bold with sweet stewed fruit but chewy. Needs time …
