Pushed at Total Wine as a hidden gem, but maybe should have stayed hidden. Drink-able but not savor-able. Sour cherry - kinda enjoyable but you also enjoy when it’s done.

Well balanced Zin that is easy to pair with our chicken/rice/bean soup tonight. Not a show-stopper but it also works well as a stand-alone glass.

As a generic red wine, I’d score this as good. It reminds me a lot of some vibrant Italian reds. However, as a Zinfandel, I have to rate this as below average. It is missing the dark jammy fruit on the nose and palate. I paired it with the “can’t miss” of BBQ and … it missed.
