Opened at Noble Rot. Decanted and enjoyed. Less open than the '22 Caillerets enjoyed a few days after, and definitely showing more acidity at the moment than fruit. Has the potential to go up but really just needs a bit more time. I'd say revisit this in about 3+ years and things will come together nicely, though it won't peak for a long time yet. Excited to see how this develops, and cannot wait for the next one.

Grand Jury du Vin — Republic of Georgia and France, Third Edition; 11/5/2025-11/15/2025 (Republic of Georgia then Burgundy) : In line with Lamy-Caillat style. Very pure, clean and precise. Cool white fruit, white flowers and fine mineral. There is a hint of bitterness which is not bothersome. Very good energy and precision. Medium finish.

Restaurant purchase. Young but really nice now with its lush and clear precise fruit. Good tension and structure.

Sunny citrus and white fruits and great salinity. High stylish oak in this bottle rounds out the edges but adds bitterness. Enjoyable and expressive if you don't mind a little oak juice.

Noble Rot SoHo list. Appealing aromas of sweet orchard fruit, citrus peel and some toast. Palate is similar but relatively light weight and short. Solidly enjoyable but no more.

[Restaurant purchase] At restaurant Noble Rot Lamb’s Conduit, London UK. BTG, no detailed notes. This took a fair 10-15 minutes to open itself and then showed lemon, white peach, pear, nutmeg, touch of oak, chalkiness, minerality. High acidity with a long lemon and grapefruit driven finish. 91-92

Beautiful ripe white fruits and some citrus against a background of oyster shells. The Lamy-Caillat oak regimen is recognizable but well-integrated, as always, except that it adds to the already tannic expression of the vintage in 2022. This is delicious to drink and should become more interesting over time as it puts on weight.

Clarijs Fine Wine Selections Tasting and Lunch (Restaurant De Kas *, Amsterdam, NL) : Trade tasting, brief note. Clearly recognisable Lamy Caillat atyle, very precise, chiselled fruit, youthful and concentrated but remarkable open for business already, marvellous structure and length.

For a St-Aubin this young, on a solar year, this is quite good. Lots of matchstick. I would definitely wait if I could but it's drinkable nicely now. Starting to really appreciate this domain.

A good bit of matchstick, but it’s a positive for me. Pure fruit and some spice emerges with air. Silky and textural as all of these wines seem to be. I saw another taster note (with respect to a prior vintage) “excellent detail and drive” and that really sums this up. Based on the few bottles I’ve had, this producer is really outstanding.
