Kornell Merlot Kressfeld Merlot Riserva

This is a great wine. A bit rustic, very clean Merlot fruit surrounded by top notch tannins. Smells of perfectly cured tobacco intermingling with a plethora of berry aroma. More red- than blackcurrants. Fairly low on acidity, a warm Vintage, but it's all about the texture which is world class. Firmly structured, super clean fruit. A great wine. We get it for 25€ a bottle, a price point where qpr is pretty acceptable. Not sure about 60+€ asking price in …
