Another really well made wine from Blackbird. Once again the blueberry fruit is dominating the nose and like another year the palette as well. The palette is all grape jelly jam. Sweet fruits and lingering flavors. Most revealing is the balance. The wine is completely balanced between acidity, tannin and fruit. In mouth the wine feels smoothing, juice laden and rich. Worth finding.

Most revealing is the balance. The wine is completely balanced between acidity, tannin and fruit. Therefore in mouth the wine feels smoothing, juice laden and rich. Worth finding.

Nose: a bit of dark cherries and raisins Taste; raisins, dark chocolate, with a nice smooth finish. The cab franc really stands out in a good way
