Very nice expressive nose. Creamy reddish/black fruit. About medium in body, juicy, berry-driven palate. Blueberry, black raspberry, very good stuff. Still primary after 9 years.

Cranberry/Brick color. Bright cranberry & orange peel scents supported spice & plum. Bright cherry at the start, cranberry, plum, blueberry carry it through. lingering acidity on the finish. Lovely.

Notes are mainly from night 1. Vacuum sealed and into the fridge, and finishing half a bottle on night 3, where it is better. Bright, light to medium ruby in color. Nose is pretty expressive and lovely - big, brooding, gamey and earthy; some sage and oregano. Palate is more elegant and lighter in profile than the impression I got from the nose. Willamette Valley May 2019; 5/17/2019-5/18/2019 : We have a few bottles of this (I think) and based on this tasting I think they could benefit from a little age. Earth, roses, strawberry, cherries on nose. Medium-strong bumpy acid on palate with a bit of a mineral undertone.

Light in color, blending pink on the rim and ruby on the core. Nose is very floral with a spicy kick. Red fruit and iron too. A dusty road. Medium in body with good energy. Mouth-fillng. More of that red fruit - spicy ripe cherry - and iron. Medium high acid and supple tannins. The Jory character really shines though in this one to me. Very good.

Pop an pour and tasted with food (a mix of cheese and crackers, bratwurst, and butternut squash soup, all in case you were wondering). Followed for 5 hours with and without food. Light ruby red color and fairly clear. Nose offers a smoky element with some wet soil. Has a slight metallic/mineral element on the entry, showing some heat from the alcohol (14% abv) and a mix of red berries. There is a nice peppery/spicy element on the finish. This …
