Clearly past its prime but still nice core of berry fruit and acidity-- but tannins are a bit harsh at this point. Went well with lamb and eggplant. Definitely drink up!

This is my last bottle and we enjoyed it a lot with nice rack of lamb, made based on Gordon Ramsay recipe. The wine is still at its prime time, but I think this is as good as it gets. Probably the right time to enjoy. Typical very good Napa Cab from very good 2007 vintage, with lots of black currant, spices, leather, wood and pencil lead, super integrated and balanced with long silky finish. Wow!!!

Still has it all. Sad that only have one left, but it has been a good 5 case run. Fruit and tannins may be lower, but balance is still there. Decanted and enjoyed over meat and cheese plate.

Much better than previous bottle, that was opened 2 years ago... Very dark ruby color, opens with nice wood, leather, spices, a bit of black currants and some leafs. After 2 hours in decanter much more fruits with secondary smell of cigar box, some licorice and vanilla. Very tasty, fresh, good acidity, nicely integrated tannin and almost off-dry medium plus finish. Really beautiful wine, still has a lot of life there. 2007 was great year in CA, especially in Napa. …

As per previous notes, the fruit is balanced by a new leather smokiness. I'd say the age qualities are just starting to overshadow the fruit, so maybe it's in the sweet spot for me. I'm sure it will hold up for years to come, but if you like your cabs fruity, drink up.

Much better than the last bottle I opened. Medium oak, good tannic structure, ripe fruits that are slightly overweight, but overall, a tasty wine.

Young and closed right now. No decant on day 1. Improved considerably on day #2. More time in the cellar or a long decant will serve this wine well.

Inky purple. Deep, dense, ripe nose of black currants, blackberries, pencil shavings, dark chocolate, and touches of singed earth and tar. Develops hints of licorice and smoke in the glass. Full bodied, rich, and streamlined, with a core of black fruit, awesome middle sweetness, ruby red grapefruit acidity, and a texture that glides effortlessly on the palate. There's a hint of molasses on the back end before closing with a wisp of graphite minerality. This is still youthful but the …

Well, I lasted 10 months, which was longer than expected. Cracked this bottle with some ribeye and it paired beautifully. Still great, please see my jan 2013 note. What I like best is the pipesmoke on the nose that pairs wonderfully with the black cherry and fresh plum. The fruit is still dominant on the palate over the smoke/leather so I think we can contue to expect great things over the next few years.

Poured through a venturi- Brick color with medium forming legs and aromas of blackberry and black currant. It's balanced and has flavors of dusty forest with some earth, with a long finish.

I thought this wine was rather young and clumsy. Lots of bold flavors and big tannins without much finesse. I will give it a couple of years and hope it matures.

Funky, earthy nose. Lots of wood and red fruit. Dry with fine tannin. Rich and red-driven. Nice. Dusty texture.

Great deal for $37 at LA Wine Comp. Plump Plum and dark currants upfront. Smooth sweet tannin s finishing with a nice melt-up of fruit mouth-full. No way is this available at $20. Unless there is a 375 ml bottle available.

This one is still really terrific. Nose of dark fruit, vanilla, and a bit of pipesmoke. Tastes of black cherry and other dark stone fruits, with a long finish that again has that hint of smoke. Pleasant mouthfeel with plenty of tannins to age for 5-10 years. If I can restrain myself, I'll hold off my last two bottles.

Excellent pairing with beef stew. Dark berries, smoke, juicy, some oak. Delicious now, will be that much better in a few years.

A superb bottle of wine. Everything you want in a cab. Some smoked meat, some leather, blackberry & cherry, eucalyptus / herbs. Overall it's a complex, well integrated wine with a long and lasting finish. Had this with pork and prime rib... fantastic with the prime rib. Could easy cellar another 5-10 years. 92-93 pts.

I thought quite good for the $20 I paid. Red fruits for sure, medium body, would buy again.
