This pinot was fairly thin and bitter-high alcohol burn. Not as complex as the whole cluster version, which I enjoyed much more.

Consumed with grilled halibut. A little thin, but other than that, an excellent Pinot which got better the longer it was in the glass. The fruit has dissipated a bit, but the finish is long and complex. Not a berry laden Pinot, but a little hint of root beer, cinnamon and dried fruit.

On first sip it tasted a bit astringent as if the fruit dissipated and what tannins there were took precedence. Eventually balanced out and the wine was excellent with a plate of various grilled food. Fairly light, with cola, spice and dark berry flavors. Long, complex finish. Still, wish I had this a year or two ago.

Initial tasting: Very nice, in good shape, full but with a drying finish. 2nd bottle was a bit corked. Between that characteristic and a bit of funk due to age, it reminded me of the old Pierre Ponnelle Burgundy. Drink up.

Drinking nicely here. Classic Halo. Drinking window is suggested by people who don’t understand the effect of acidity in age ability of wine however. This wine will age a few more years easily. It’s not just the tannins.

sweet cherries on the nose the first night with a little bitterness on the end second night with less fruit on the nose but much better integration would hold this another 6-12 months or so

Not going to rate this. I detected trace TCA, but wife and wife's friend didn't, and said they liked it. They're not *that* nice to me, so this goes unscored, and left in a haze of uncertainty. (This is the second corked Moshin bottle I've had in six months, if so (after batting .1000 for six years, I should also mention).)
