Maria Faber-Köchl Grüner Veltliner Saazen

Drank this with a stew of chicken thighs in tomatillo sauce (Pollo entomatado). This is a very nice pairing, the acidity of the wine cuts perfectly through the warm earthly tones in the food. Earlier we had another bottle with jalapeno poppers-- also very good. Pairing with spaghetti carbonara was not as successful. The wine is also nice on its own.
