Nice QPR on this wine. It not too jammy given the areas predilection on making overtly full-bodied wines. The wine is full bodied, but not overbearingly so. Notes of boysenberry jam, all spice, and black pepper are balanced in the nose. On the palette the wine is has a warm alcohol tone that works nicely with the spicy notes of all spice and anise.
