Decanted 1 hour before we started drinking, and tasted better at 2 hours. Acidic/fresh fruit on the nose, dark fruits/plums and moderate tannins. 13Y old and still good.

A lovely cab that seems to be coming together. A bit jammy. Dark Fruits. Some of the floral qualities are starting to show up with its age.

Scorched earth, dried berries, cassis, barbecue sauce, umami. The nose feels a little warm and sticky. The palate feels a little thin without a lot going on. Feels kind of disjointed.

I think this is ultimately better than a 85...seems like it needs age. it's pretty disjointed and tar like. Fruit is muted at this point ...it comes alive but its out of balance. Needs some cellar time. Austere, disjointed and tannic. Time and patience

Very interesting Cabernet. Chocolate and tangy up front, with smooth tannins rolling in towards the middle and lending to a strong finish. Usually the tannins are more forward.
