A dark tasting wine. Was ready to drink out of the bottle. Heavy dark cherry finish. Quite delicious

Pretty bouquet with barrel notes, cassis and red berries. Full palate with a bit of spice. Straight forward and consistent. Held strong for over a week and peaked on day 2 or 3.

Deep dark ruby color, and is that a hint of cola aroma or is it cocoa on the nose? Picked up a slight cinnamon note on first sip. Overall really like this wine -- has a nicely integrated flavor, is very easy drinking (especially the second night), worked well with roast, Brilliat Savarin with truffles, or just on its own.

Good wine. Served at 56 deg and with porkcops. Heavy on sour black cherry.
