Moone-Tsai Vineyards Black List II

Decanted briefly. Stunning, silky, and intense with red and black currants and fine earth and tannins. Acid is well balanced. Showing beautifully now.

Drank over two days. This is really singing now. It's hard for me to believe it's 100% Cabernet Sauvignon as claimed because the nose is so sweet and there is plenty of black cherry on the acid-dominated palate. But I assume the winery is telling the truth. I'd start drinking these if you've been waiting but no rush.

Drank over two days. Terroir-driven single-barrel Cabernet, savory and saline, bright acid, quite interesting and nice.

Pop and pour. Club selection, only two barrels made. Single block from edge of Atlas Peak AVA. Fruit tastes young and perhaps unripe but it's well made with young tannins and nice viscocity. Just a hint of the volcanic soil. More interesting than pleasing.
