Shadowfax Shiraz K Road

{screwcap, 14%} Richly spicy Victorian shiraz, with plenty of blue and black fruit. Subtle oak, medium weight, medium acid. A bit in-between as far as development goes; not obviously youthful, but so far without a lot of development apparent either. Seems to have the right mix of fruit and structure to age well in the medium term. Should have kept it longer, really.

Victoria - Three cellar doors; 12/29/2019-12/31/2019 (Geelong, Nagambie) : {screwcap, 14%, A$45} A vineyard selection from the Werribee site. Dark garnet colour. Fruit-driven blackberry, with spice and pepper. Low/medium oak, medium/high acid, fine tannins. Very even on the tongue. Tidy, but way too young. Medium weight wine overall which should age very nicely.
