Conundrum Wines White

This is aweful stuff. Wagner name plastered all over t. Drink Delille Chaleur Estate White for a little more money. Very simple wine with a sugary taste along with riper pear and some spice. Not balanced at all.

Muted gold. Reticent grapefruit. Smooth, citrus, some slate, somewhat weak mid-palate, grapefruit medium finish Mild and unassuming.

I’m a fan of the Wagner program, and have enjoyed the QPR Conundrum has often offered, but this one missed the mark. The structure is there, so if you’re pairing with something like a rich, fatty fish, the acidity will do you solid. On the nose, it’s flinty with unripe white peach.. and that’s about it. The palate is clean but quiet, nothing off-putting, just lacking.. anything. For the price, it’s hard to complain, but if I’m grabbing a grocery …

Quite good for an inexpensive white blend. Nice ripe peach nose, tart with good acid and well balanced my sweet notes. Pleasant lingering finish.
