Popped and poured. Over the first hour open the enticing nose and overall balance diminished to become dominated by increasing bitterness on the finish.

Seriously good muscadet. Salty, seashells on the attack but finishes with a depth of fruit and complexity that few muscadet achieve. A point now but should cruise for 5-6 years

Popped and poured. Excellent with spaghetti vongole. Excellent flinty, saline fruit is as fresh as sea spray—this hasn’t lost a thing since my previous bottle. Lovely in the mouth, too, and lasts seemingly forever on the finish. Perfect fruit-acid balance. I wouldn’t be surprised to see this lasting another ten years, though not sure it can get much better than it already is. 5-13-18-9: 95/100.

This was truly excellent. Like Mickle said, lean, mean, saline, and mineral. Edgy but not without some volume and nice fruit. For me, 2012 was a fantastic year Chez Pepiere. As good, dare I say better, than 2014?

Du fruit blanc pur, nourri et bien frais avec une finale minérale particulièrement saline. Un domaine qui déçoit rarement, j'aime beaucoup! 90

Boy, I really wanted to love this, but just couldn't. There is no doubt a lot of wine there, but I just didn't quite 'get' it. Will keep trying with Muscadets from great growers.

J'avais lu de bons commentaires sur ce muscadet, mais le charme n'a pas opéré. Je m'attendais à plus de complexité.

Quite young-looking medium yellow; doesn't look 5 years old. The nose is very fresh, with lime, stone. Quite a lean wine, but savory, with nice saline and sea spray coming to mind. Citrus too. This would be great with a platter of oysters. 5-12-16-8: 91/100.
