This wine was perfect with pizza on a Friday night. Medium body, the pinot restraining the shiraz just a tad. Shame it was the last bottle.

Gee this is good. Qpr is great. A bit spicy on the nose, but palate is quite sweet fruited, finishing with a bit of oaky notes

Glad to see Tyrrell’s join the trend and turning back time with an LDR. This is a very handy early drinker and I can see it showing well over the longer haul too. It’s medium bodied at most. Lovely nose of cherry, plum and violet. It flows through to the palate and finishes rather savoury. Sharp QPR as well. Really liking this.

A little nail polish on the nose, followed by cocoa, coffee, aniseed, plum & some herbal notes. Palate has a touch of chalkiness but loads of plums, cherries & a little licorice too. Juicy acidity & balanced tannins

Hunter Whistlestop 2020 #3 (Hunter Valley) : Savoury, aniseed, slightly leathery, over creamy notes, a touch of chalkiness, cherry, very slight plums and violets. Medium plus intensity acidity, savoury, cherry, plummy, drying tannic grip is a little coarse but compliments rather than dominates the fruit. Quite a pretty palate and nose. Nice.
