Académie des Cinquante Tasting “Spain according to Peñin” (Restaurant Bij Qunis, Lijnden, NL) : Uncomplicated, quite tropical (passion fruit, mango, pineapple), gooseberry, very grassy, intense flavours, good length. In your face.

Extreme green bell pepper smell and taste, with hints of nettles, gooseberries and grass. Very green and vegetal. Very Sauvignon Blanc. Racy acidity - much more than expected. Clean and fresh. Must have been harvested rather early to obtain these acidity levels and the typical green flavors, but it works. Stereotypical Sauvignon Blanc to drink as young as possible. - 88 points
