Nice, pleasant correct champagne methode sparkler which started off the evening...pronounced Granny Smith apple skin aroma and taste, not unpleasant. Quite on par with a basic Cremant, but a tad pricier. Will buy again if for no reason then familial connection to the region it comes from.

Nice green apple and an oddly appealing dusty quality (but like dust in a house, not dirt). A hint of oxidation on the back end but can't be too judgemental, pretty impressive that wine from MA was good to begin with, much less 6 years later.

Yeasty, but appealing on the nose with notes of rye bread and dried red fruit, this is pleseant enough but falls a bit short on the palate (particularly in comparison to Westport's excellent 2000 BdN) where it feels flat without much concentration of flavor or texture.
