Jean-Marc Brocard Chablis 1er Cru Vau de Vey

Eðalklúbburinn í Búrgundarhéraðinu.; 5/21/2023-5/27/2023 (Búrgundarhéraðið.) : Næst var dregið fram aðeins eldra vín eða frá 2018. Þarna mátti finna í nefinu: Smjör, krydd og alls konar ullartóna. Vínið var svo mjög þægilegt í munni. Jonagold epli, steinefni. Fínt jafnvægi. Fínt eftirbragð, súkkulaðitónar. Virkilega gott vín. Gaman að fá að sjá hvað smá tími gerir fyrir premier cru vínin.

OK, but probably not a re-buy.

Pale lemon colour. Medium and developing nose with ripe green apples, peach, ripe lemon, honey, flint and wet stone. Medium taste of ripe green apples, peach, ripe lemon, honey, toast, flint and wet stone. Long and dry finish. High acidity. Medium body. A very good Chablis Premier Cru from a warm vintage that is peaking. Needed half an hour of air to open. Drink now. Goes well with cheeses, fish or shellfish.

Good mineral tone on attack but a bit harsh and hot- should get better

From a half bottle. Reserved nose eventually showing a bit of green apples which continued on through the medium bodied palate with medium+ acid. Felt that this was a little thin mid-palate and showed some surprising alcohol flavors that detracted from the experience.

Nice Chablis but a bit underwhelming for the money. Medium rich green apple with good acidity.

Long and dry finish. High acidity. Medium body. Very good and stoney Chablis VV. Drink now or over the next couple of years. Goes well with cheese, fish, poultry or shellfish.

Paille dorée clair et brillant. Nez sur les fleurs blanches, eucalyptus, un peu des cailloux mouillés. En bouche, un peu beurrée avec notes minérales, acidité moyenne, un peu de fruits blancs, longueur moyenne-. Bien, mais je m’attendais a plus.
