I don't care for heavy bodied, highly oaked chardonnays. First whiff, I knew what I was in for. Butter on the nose, butterscotch, apple, spice, nectarine. Heavy body with lots of oak and a buttery finish. Didn't really notice the Bourbon influence.

Simple and subdued fruit (pineapple and golden delicious) lets the bourbon barrell notes show nicely. Enjoyable and easy to pair. Nice value.

Like others state here, lots of creaminess and Vanilla. By no means a great wine but for the 11.99 price not a bad party wine for easteevfoe those who didn’t like Pinot with their ham.

Bold yellow color. Glazed apricots, yellow apples, with cinnamon spice, crème brulee, honeycomb and ginger. Juicy and creamy style with medium acidity and a nice, fresh, balanced appeal. Yellow apples and orange marmalade mixes with notes of honey, almond, crème brulee and candied ginger. To be honest, the barrel influences here (for my palate, thankfully) seem less overt than a lot of California Chardonnays at this price point. Fun stuff. 25% maloactic fermentation, 20% of the wine is aged 60 …

The color in the glass was very nice and golden. The flavors of fruit and MLF did not work well together at all. You get some creaminess up front and then comes around the back with vanilla while overpowering the fruit structures The wine just does not do well for $15.99
