Deep ruby with hints of purple. Medium intensity cherry with maybe a bit of cedar nose. Dry with high acidity,medium tannin, high alcohol and full body. The medium plus intensity palate is where things get interesting. Both red and black cherry are present accompanying a bit of vanilla and cedar. Some earthiness is just starting to emerge which contributes to the medium to long finish. Closer to 4.5 than 4 for this outstanding offering.

Needs a lot of air time to open up and smooth out. A little harsh when first opened. A lighter blend compared to a typical Bordeaux blend.

This was a very dense Parker-style wine. I was expecting more sophistication but I think I erred opening it so soon. Not sure I'll drop another $75 to try again though. Nice wine, very primary notes of fresh blackberry. This Bordeaux blend spent 20 months in French Oak but I found notes of coconut on the nose. If you have one, open in three to four years.
