Poured in a large-bowl Burgundy glass. Brilliant light gold with green reflects. Aromas of damp seashells, fresh citrus, and a hint of butterscotch. Medium body. Tight, focused, and precise. Great acidity and balance. A touch of salinity. Medium+ finish. A wine to savor. Definitely ready to drink, but there’s no rush; probably a decade or more life left here.

hmmm... feels like there's more oak on this that I would like... a little heavy??... maybe 90 pts??

Has a rather plump mouthfeel. Nice mix of white flower with riper golden fruit. Finish adds a toasty element. Good. Shows a roundness that I suspect is the vintage. Probably best to hold a year or 3 for further integration.

This tasted like cheap beer. Booo.

Took a chance on buying 2 bottles of this based on the good reviews on this board. I thought this clearly sucked. Disinteresting, empty, alcoholic, slightly flabby, yet the nuances of chalk and mineral in the bouquet helped me woof it down. Honestly, I think I could have replaced this with a single digit Italian wine from Trader Joes. This is the problem with most Burgundy value wines based on my experience thus far, unless you know a wine mystic …

We love Chablis, but not this one. It isn’t your classic Chablis taste.

Citrus, green apple, margarine, honeysuckle, coriander. Good acidity and long popcorn finish. Mouth feel was dry, similar to how "Trocken" version of German Riesling would feel. Well balanced and delicate.

Les Portes d'Or de la Bourgogne - Les Grands Jours de Bourgogne (Chablis France) : Walk around tasting. Big and clearly very ripe with good textures in the middle that seem nearly disjointed today. OK for its level.
