Still have a year until perfect for its kind. A good Bordeaux but not any extra, felt a bit harsh so next bottle will be next year to get some smoothness,

I was very positively surpriced by this wine. Great body, fruit with nice maturity. Simply a great wine.

Oops! Dropped this while rearranging and broke the bottom. I lost half the bottle to the floor, but was able to salvage (and sieve through a coffee filter and a mesh filter just to be sure there wasn't any glass) half of the bottle. I'm not sure if my filtering affected the flavor. It was dark and smoky, barnyard and bacon. I didn't decant it, and drank my glass over the course of 2 hours, so perhaps I could have …
