Reichsgraf von Kesselstatt, Piesporter Goldtropfchen Riesling Spatlese, Mosel

A friend brought this to dinner last Friday, 5 September. At the time it was first opened it seemed a bit “off” some thought it oxidized, or otherwise flawed. It was quite bitter and did have an overly nutty and caramelized flavor that wasn’t attractive. Acidity was still good and there was a little fruit showing through.
