Delicious! The small amount of ssuv blanc is evident.

nose of lemon citrus, honey, with very good acidity to balance the small amount of ripeness on the palate. I could definitely smell the sauvignon blanc in the blend.

Consumed at Bistro Jeanty in Napa, Paired with their deviled eggs and steak frites. Top notch bordeaux blanc, I put it only behind SHL blanc in that there is not as much struture/fullness to it. Much more tropical fruit forward with a gusher and pop rock finish. Absolutely stunning. Wish it was easier to get!

Sauternes like aromas with marzipan and oak. Also some S-B aromas. Soft and concentrated on the palate. Long finish.

Pop n poured. High Semillion vs SB content. Can tell as has hint of sweetness and no grass taste detected. Some tropical fruit subtle taste. Very smooth goes down easy

Pronounced nose intensity with notes of melon, apricot, mango, tropical fruits. Medium+ acidity.

A bottle we found totally underwhelming. Quite simple on the palate, not very complex, not very long, in a nutshell totally ordinary . Tasted blind I would have thought this was a 10 EUR petit bordeaux. From other reviews I think this may be an off bottle, but the surprising thing is that, despite the fact it has been bottled only 3 years ago, we tasted it at Hakuba, the new venture of chefs Takuya Watanabe and Arnaud Donckele, at …

Greatly preferred this to the white from Petit Cheval, it presented as more balanced and lacked the heavy grass note. This is easy to drink and food friendly. Not especially complex, but still very young so maybe this evolves in time.

I thought the wine was a Sauvignon blanc and upon looking at its makeup I was correct. I guess it's kind of having a sauvignon blanc with a little bit of de Yquem. I think for the price that it is not something I will buy again. It was a nice sauvignon blanc, but not one worth $150. $150. I was kind of swayed by the de Yquem part of the wine, but it never came through and was not …

decanted for more than an hour before serving. The first sip was so alcoholic and ripe, and the wine has obviously matured further from the bottle we tasted last year. A little acetone on the nose, along with muscat grapes.

Needs to be 10 or so degrees above refrigerator temperature. Not much to offer if it's cold, by my word, what a pleasure as it warms. Incredible richness. Tongue-tickling acidity. Enjoy with food or relish it on its own.

Bordeaux blends Paulée with Lay & Wheeler (The George) : 75% Sauvignon, 25% Semillon. This was a seriously nice surprise; I had unfairly assumed Y (which I'd never tried before) was 'all mouth and no trousers', but this delicious, charismatic wine impressed everyone who tried it. About as opulent as one can make a white Bordeaux blend and keep it dry, the effect being like a (slightly) less aromatic top-quality Condrieu. Impressively focused given the weight of fruit. It's expensive, …

Wow … this is indeed next level white Bordeaux wine. Used to drinking white Pessac, but this is quite different ( imo ). But good … extremely good ! Mathijs

more ripe on the nose and the palate than I had expected, but still had flinty notes on the nose in addition to lemon citrus.

Patio Time at Martina : Light goold color. Drank a glass over an hour plus. I always love it when I have a chance to drink Ygrec. Vanilla custard, cut pears, stone, hint of lemon and more subtle tropical fruits. The palate has weight, a little on the oily side, good brightness, not heavy and quite fresh; pear, stone, subtle citrus, good length. Spot on. 93(+?)pts.

nose was very fragrant from the get go, with fresh lemons, very floral. On the palate it was a little more rounded than expected, pretty ripe on the palate, a little bitter on the finish and I could feel the alcohol burning as it goes down. On the nose there was tropical fruit like candied pineapple. Delicious.

First time with this wine. Super interesting, as it combines a creamy, rich and provocative flavor profile with streaks of stark mineral driven flavors in a sophisticated, yet citrus driven package. That meshing of contrasting styles makes it one of the better overall wines I have tasted with these varietals. Aromas of lemon zest, apricots, orange rind, pears, white flowers, wet stone and crushed rock. Palate is at once firm and expressive, showing off wonderfully pure and concentrated flavors with …
