92-93 pts. Gone in one night, holding up pretty good for not being the #1 wine from Concha Y Toro. Acidity and fine tannins still present rounding the mouthfeel nicely with lingering finish.

Very surprised by how well this is drinking. Decanted for about an hour. Tannins have melted away, but there is still lots of deep dark fruit and a seamless structure. So good!

Still drinking well. Thought I’d missed the window upon opening the bottle and was amazed as it developed in the glass. Inky cherry initially, which transitioned to blackberry as white pepper joined in. A little weight but well balanced with plenty of soft but very prominent tannin to allow further aging. Remarkable for a 38$ bottle.

This is a great wine which has cellared nicely and required very little decanting. It has a deep inky colour with light sediment and medium legs. It smells like chocolate, black pepper, clove and black currants. It tastes like black currants, blackberries, flint, black pepper, stoniness and chocolate. The body is full with a silky texture. This still took a little while to open. Didn't take notes, but this was a nice cabernet, with a great balance between the fruit, acid and tannins. Lots of blackfruits and some earthy notes and herbs on this medium to full bodied wine; smooth with no rough edges. This should last a while yet (A-).

Really like after 1 hour decant. Lots developing. Good acidity, full body and balance. Best reasonably new cab find in last 2 years. Nice plum and dark fruit upfront with mineral graphite finish that has some good length. Seems like this will just get better.

wow...still dark in color...a bit of funk that subsides with air. reminds me of mid priced Malbec blends made during this era...currants, cherries, off putting sour edges, a little mold, bleach...currant and cherry fruit is the primary flavor still for this 19 year old wine!

The nose showed ripe, spiced black cherry, currants, tobacco, licorice, and hints of sweet herbs. On the palate, I found creamy textures with notes of blueberry, raisin, and sweet spice. It finished on a hint of sweet tannin and kirsch. A slightly elevated mix of acid and perceptible heat hurts this wine on the palate, but it is still packed with character and good for the price.

Bright aromas of ripe dark fruit and a whiff of cassis on the nose. Full bodied, very smooth and fruit driven, gentle tannins, showing dense dark fruit likewise the nose with good balance and a nice little dusty bite on the lingering finish. A great quaffer and a crowd pleaser for sure.

So-so bottle of wine. Thought this might have some potential, but really no structure or definition. Tasted very average to me, a big bold Cabernet but nothing suggesting the terroir of this region. May be past prime

Pop and pour, easy on the nose with vanilla, berries and some oak. Full and smooth. Will recommend this wine as better than average table wine.

This is a great weeknight sipper. Full, inky, tongue-coating purple people eater of a wine. Very primary, but well balanced and some nice secondary notes that come through with time like black currant leaf and black licorice. Not one to contemplate but well made and very easy to drink and enjoy. $30 here in Ontario but still good QPR. Cheers!

Medium-to-high complex aromatics featuring mint, herbs, eucalypt, red & black fruits and subtle oak spice. It's full-bodied with taut tannins and very nice aroma replays. Acids are well-balanced. Finish is long with currant, mint and some minerally notes. Should improve over the next 2-3 years.

Had this over 2 evenings, decanted and tasted in Zalto Bordeaux I think its a real young wine, with a hint of something that is going to become more rounded. Right now its blackberry and very woody notes on the palate ( in the end ) Not really sure how this will evolve over time.

Dark ruby. Initially reductive, then somewhat shut down and in need of prolonged aeration/swirling to open up. Moccha, kahlua liqueur, dark fig, dark chocolate, cassis and capsicum on the nose alongside sweet spices like cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. Medium to full-bodied, velvety-textured and round with very little heat, medium acidity and good length. At peak.

Nose of medium intensity, dried blackberry, black or green pepper, stony earth. Pretty large profile, decidedly Chilean but integrated well. Classic example.

Sweet blackcurrant with a very sweet core. Good mouthfeel & a fair whack of tannin. Would be better with more secondary tertiary flavour

Dark reddish purple that leaves a little stain on the glass. Minty, sweet black cherry, currant, mocha, a hint of vanilla, leather and tobacco; very enticing combination of aromas. Cherries and dark chocolate immediately wrapped the palate with some chewy tannins and a bit of oak; and mocha on the backend. Needs decanting or wait until next year. Great potential. 90-92

Deep purple/red color. Aromas of cassis, cedar, mocha and spice. Ripe, rich fruit in the mouth with excellent depth and length and soft, well-integrated tannins and oak. Very full and sauve on the palate for a 5 year old Cabernet. Young but delicious and the red WOTN.
