Popped and poured through a vinturri. Medium ruby-purple in colour. Nose blackberries, black plums, with some pencil shavings and some hints of violets. On the palate, fresh blackberries with a few tarty red fruits with a bit of baking spice. Medium bodied with a medium finish. 100% organic; drink now.

An inviting nose of red berries and tobacco. Fruits are crunchy in the mouth but also perfectly ripe. It is perfumed and fine, with a finish carried by chalky tannins.

Cellarhand 20th Anniversary Tour 2019 V2 (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street) : Pencil shavings, red berry fruit, spice, cream. Juicy, savoury, wet, burred tannins, lacks fruit on the palate. Perhaps time?

Needs about twenty minutes of air to show its best. The wine has a pretty nose of red fruit and bell pepper. The wine is exceptionally well balanced and elegant for such a young wine with very pure fruit flavors of strawberry, watermelon and bell pepper. The wine is light to medium bodied without much tannin and no evidence of oak. This is a very good Loire red for near term drinking for those who like a more elegant, less …

Stars of the Loire (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street) : Pencil shavings and graphite, a little red berries; almost raspberry, sweet spice. On the palate it's savoury but with red fruit sweetness married to those graphite/pencil shavings notes that take the form of a chalky tannic burr across the mouth. Long. Balanced and harmonious. Very good.
