13 years old now. Heavy, almost black sediment. Deep, brown apple dominates the palate. Sweetness is restrained. Remarkable.

Blind tasting vs Rochefort 10 2009 and a fresh St Bernardus abt12. The placements were unanimous and the W12 earned 2nd place-- bowing to the '09 R10. The W had the most body of any entry with pronounced flavors of raisin brandy and malt; but lacked effervescence vs the R10. The W easily defeated the fresh STB12.
