This was a delicious bottle of white wine made by the young and talented Moritz. A blend of Chardonnay and Weissburgunder this showed great texture and a wonderful salinity that made this such a cool blend of pretty and savory. A melange of citrus notes from lemons to oranges with a layer of wax that seemed to be cut with bright acidity and chalky minerality. I shared this with family and the bottle disappeared rapidly. What better endorsement is there?!

A private dinner (Restaurant 4850, Amsterdam, NL) : A blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc, organic viticulture, bottled unfiltered, 12.5% ABV. Tasted blind. Clearly Chardonnay, clearly oak aged, but not Burgundy. The acidity and minerality are different, really sprightly and salty. Excellent persistence. Germany?

A blend of Chardonnay and Weissburgunder, showed a great chewy texture while being bright and linear at the same time. There was a beautiful floral note on the nose that led to waxy citrus and great minerality. Again there was a great inner sweetness of fruit that was balanced beautifully by racy acidity.
