Chateau Larose Perganson, Haut-Medoc

Drunk alongside the 2012. Still deep ruby coloured with just hints of subtle browning at the rim. Nose is classic left bank, still rather primary but with gentle hints of tertiary starting to show. Tanins present but more than covered by the fruit. Lovely finish. Fantastic bottle

A nice blend of red and black fruits with edgings of tobacco leaf is working well here in this fully-developed, medium-bodied wine. Drink from 2023-2028.

Better than the bottle of Larose-T 2016 tried recently, this is bright and appealing, lots of redcurrants and red cherry, with at this stage quite a stern backbone which should settle down over time. Excellent value at 10€.

By the glass. Serious and faithful to that dry and strict sfyle of some wineries in Bordeaux. Shy on the nose and balanced in the mouth. When aged it can be a wine of reflection. Really remarkable for its range. Por copas. Serio y fiel al corte seco y estricto de algunas bodegas en Burdeos. Apocado en nariz y equilibrado en boca. Cuando envejezca puede ser un vino de reflexión. Realmente es remarcable para su rango.
