Black fruit, mushroom, wet black stone, leather aromas. Cigars and leather shoes on the palette, tannic but clean.

Drank at tasting in Hudson. Color somewhat muddy--seems unfiltered. Very dry, sour cherries, dirt, fairly gritty tannins. Old style chianti. Interesting

cherry aroma followed by funk; bright red fruit flavor, low acid, very slight tannins, not sure worth $28

Sweet, light, but has a bit of a bite at the end. More plumy.

(resto FI) L'historique millésime 2019 sort en bouteille, on essaye pour voir : du grand classique dans les parfums et le goût, mais je suis impressionné par l'élégance et la classe du vin, tanins ultra fins, toucher de bouche soyeux. C'est super bon et pas prévu pour la garde je pense, à l'inverse du Fontodi bu en suivant

Has aromas of violets and cherry. It has good presence in the mouth, with intense fruit flavours and some savoury nuance. It is balanced, long and fresh.
