Nice but showing its age. Relatively dark color, acid barely OK for an NZ SB. Drink up.

Everyday quaffer, very lemony, almost Pledge like on its nose.

Pnp'd. Less exuberant than some NZ SB's, which I find a good thing. All the usual elements are there, only more subtle, more controlled. Used in a piccata recipe as well as to wash it down. V nice.

My favorite Sauvignon Blanc! Bought a case then immediately bought a second case. Nice balance of minerality and citrus notes.

PnP, chilled. Grapefruit dominated the nose, along with some minerality. The medium bodied palate showed lots of grapefruit, some minerality, hay and herbs, a touch of melon, and really juicy acidity. Not very balanced, complex, or even nuanced for a Sauvignon Blanc. There are better, more interesting $13 NZ Sauv. Blancs out there.

Fruit forward with a nice round finish. Minimal acidity to taste. Nice smooth, mild minerality on the finish. Great for pairing with food or sipping late night.

I’ve been bored as hell with NZ SB for a few years, if not longer, and rarely seek them out anymore. But this was delicious with grilled salmon, showing notes of gooseberry, white peach, and grapefruit, and with an herbal streak on the medium-long finish providing additional lift.

This is perhaps the most Sauvignon Blanc Sauvignon Blanc I've ever Sauvignon Blanced. Most of the major varietal characteristics of this grape are here turned up high. Passion fruit, grapefruit, gooseberry/cat pee, green/vegetal (in this case it's less grassy or bell pepper, more like shoving your face in a hedge). High acid, high impact. To be honest, this is a little much for me - all of these characteristics, nice on their own, feel like they're each vying for dominance. …

Pale & light straw gold in color. Full, forward & attractive nose of citrus notes of white grapefruit, lemons/limes & some stone fruits with overtones of floral & mineral notes & a slight hint of grassiness in the background. Light bodied with a good concentration of balanced & zesty textured, ripe fruit flavors of citrus of lemons/limes & white grapefruit, some peach notes & minerals. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present & may hold for another year.

Med lemon-green; Med+ intensity, youthful aromatics. Primary aromas of citrus fruit (lemon, lemon-lime, grapefruit), green fruit (gooseberry, apple, pear), tropical fruit (mango, melon), herbaceous (grass, sweet pea), herbal (lemongrass, mint, thyme), floral (jasmine, honeysuckle, blossoms) and minerals, stones, and salt. Secondary aromas of lees (toast, bread dough, nuts, hard cheese rind). Dry, med+ acidity, med+ body, med alcohol, med+ intensity, med finish. Flavors on the palate reflect the nose. This is a very good wine. Drink now, not suitable for …
