Vescine Chianti Classico

- It's balanced with a medium/full body. Satin-Like texture with a medium finish - When posting the first tasting note, I was less than impressed. The wine had arrived about a week earlier and travel shock lasting over 2 weeks is the only explanation I can think of, but now this seems a very decent wine. Somewhat straight forward and simple but with a good structure and taste. Drinking time is now.

This wine exhibits very common chianti classico elements, but somehow is a bit short, unbalanced and blunt. For my taste a tiny bit too much acidtity vs. tannins and would like some more depth and richness of aromas instead of just the ripe cherry. This is a "house wine" among the chiantis. But for the price I paid, this is an OK daily drinker. I doubt this getting much better with ageing.
