A pleasant food wine. Citrus flavors, minerals. The finish had a slight 'metallic' element that may be due to the minerals but which I found distracting.

14% abv. Deep gold, watery rim. Ripe lime, apricot, stoney, quite perfumed. Palate a little flat though with tannic finish, orange, lime, fruit fades quickly. Good. Rich, ripe, though lacks a bit of life on the palate.

AVTG does Italian Whites blind (Chenoa's house) : Spicy peach and melon rind on the nose. Savory on the palate, with notes of fennel/anise, fresh herbs, and melon; with a lingering, slatey finish framed by good acidity. Clean and fresh. Nice sense of place here. tie - WOTN #2.

Interesting wine. The aromas are almost entirely herbal--tarragon, thyme, eucalpytus, and a bit of sage. Flavors are herbal and mineral, with a bit of citrus at the very end. Bitter finish. Was excellent with pesto and fennel-crusted pork, otherwise iit would be a simple quaffer to sub for pinot grigio.
