13.5% abv. Light orange/gold color. Moderate oxidation on nose. This is 3rd or 4th Scholium wine I’ve opened since receiving a case last year. Was exited to try Abe’s experiments, but I’m tiring of their failure to deliver at least some enjoyment.

Flowers, meadow and some cheese on the nose. Taste similarly flows from a hint of sweetness to bitter herbs at the end. Interesting. Fairly light.

Light, primarily strawberry and apple notes with light acidity; strong mineral notes add complexity and structure.

This one is simply off putting. It has the savory core of all good rose with seashell notes, but really beyond that onion, onion, and more onion so I'm guessing an ethanthiol flaw? Not good.

Nice acid to go with a light bodied, but textured wine (as all of scholium whites), and almost a bit honeyed and apple, but a decent first one for this tasting. Very refreshing minerality though a short and dry.
