Achillée Pinot Blanc

Just wonderful stuff- so insanely energetic. The nose is sort of reticent and vague, with some chalky minerality and faintly herbal citrus, smells like a Grüner. But the palate is a lighting bolt, absolutely incredible pure lemon acidity that builds and builds despite the smallest touch of RS. Even with the screaming acidity, it never felt "tart" to me whatsoever, just beautifuly integrated and shimmering. For $20 one of the most engaging palates on a white wine I've ever had.
