Simon Colin, Bourgogne, Chardonnay

The nose has a lovely slight smokey reductive hint, with a touch of oaky vanilla, citrus, apples and a little peach. Palate is lovely and dry, with some great fresh acidity that elevates it. There are lemons, apples, and a little creaminess, that balances it all perfectly. Finish has a little fruit. This is a superb "basic" bourgogne from a rising new star.
