Very well made and impressive wine. It just happens not to be too much to my taste. The ripeness and extraction levels are impressive; right up there with a top Napa Cab. For that same reason, it becomes a bit monolithic, lacking in elegance and balance. Those looking for a "full throttle" wine will find this more to their liking. Raisiny, fruit alcohol nose. Soft but substantial tannins. Low acidity clean finish

Smooth, supple tannins with lots of chocolate and vanilla. A stunning Rhône drinking beautifully right now.

Djupröd, runda tanniner, integrerad syra, medelfylligt, örtig, mörka bär, mkt smakrik, bärig, jättegod, lång eftersmak, äntligen ute ur tunneln!

Very nice wine. It's in the tunnel scent wise today but taste is extraordinary. Wait another 1-2 years for it to emerge again.

Mismash of hasty impressions from Winebow and Regal Portfolio Tastings (NYC) : Rodolphe de Pins' insane 15 varietal co-ferment. Surprisingly supple, integrated; tannins yet to resolve. "He just keeps adding varietals into the ferment..." Well, he sure knows what he's doing.
