WSET Level 3; 11/3/2019-2/3/2020 (San Diego, CA) : Previously tasted the 2015 bottle. Served double blind. No real guess was taken... but our group was thinking Barbera (after eliminating Pinot Noir and Grenache). Light in the glass. Tart cranberry and cherry are quite prevalent on all aspects of the wine. A marked med+ acidity, low tannin, light body and med- flavors of clove, vanilla, wet stones, and floral [rose, violets]. Relatively simple and straightforward.
