Deep ruby, nice black cherry nose, big dark fruits, nice balance, long finish, lovey wine but time to drink up.

Quite lovely. Brought to restaurant so PNP. If at home would decant 2 hr. Last glass was best. Drink or hold.

delicious! I'd give it another 5 years before trying again.

Who says Canadian wines don't age? Still robust and elegant 8 years later. Would have continued to develop over a few more years but wonderful now. Strong Cabernet background with persistent fruit.

2nd best (to 1997 Banfi Brunello) in a night of fantastic wines. Great Meritage. Drinking beautifully. Balanced, multi-dimensional yet harmonious, succulent dark cherry, plum flavours. Lengthy finish.

This still has lots of life left and is entering its prime. Good tannic structure with some chalkiness and minerality. Very dark in the glass. White pepper is prominent. Dark fruits standing out - blueberries, cherries, currants. Complex and elegant. This is in the upper class of what the Okanagan can produce and could toe the line with any Bordeaux blend in this price point (or higher).

Very dry. Fruit was average, much better QPR available at this price point.

Deep dark purple. Massively weighted, certainly far too young at this stage as it's almost syrupy. full of stuffing but needs time to resolve the tannins.

6 Liters of Mondavi and Some Randoms (Willamette Wine Storage) : Very, very dark in the glass. Extracted? Black in color. Some nice blackberry fruit with a surprising lead pencil running throughout that lifted the wine from simple to interesting.

Bordeaux blend of 40% Cab Sauv, 35% Merlot, 20% Cab Franc and 5% Petit Verdot. Medium-high intensity aromas of herbal, pepper, oak, dark fruits and sour cherry. Palate is medium-full bodied with flavours of black currant, black fruit, cedar, and vanillan. Subtle spice on the mid-palate continues on the very long, smooth, and silky finish. This red wine has food-friendly acidity and velvety tannins.
