Weingut Emmerich Riesling Surprise

Indeed a surprise as the label says. It is not declared as dry but on the palate clearly is. Slight, nice touch of aging apparent. On the one hand easy drinking. But at the same time not a no-brainer, it demands your attention. Powerful but not dominant acidity, also the slate from this part of the Rhine is present. Fruit more on the citrus side. Very nice.
