This has improved. Nice meaty nose with interesting floral aromas. Seems now mature and showing a mix of gamy fruit and floral highlights that give the flavour a lift. Excellent bottle.

Still quite youthful looking but an evolved dark fruited nose. Youthful gamay fruit has gone. Big wine, dense fruit, lacking excitement at the moment. Keep 5 years yet.

Ruby red in colour, this wine showed rich red cherry, spice, oak, and a gamey undertone on the nose. The palate was similar with light silky tannins and a long peppery, coffee finish. Good representation of Gamay.
