Really good, even right after opening, and it further improves from there.

This was great - although it needed 3-4 hours of air minimum to really show itself. At first, the nose revealed subtle notes of honey, lemon curd, and butter, and was closed in the mouth (tasting almost light-bodied). If consuming in 1-2 hours I'd say you're probably going to miss the full experience. With additional time for aeration, it gained complexity, weight, and depth - showcasing notes of buttered tropical and citrus fruits and apple blossom on the nose, followed …

Aromas of pineapple, mango, papaya, butterscotch and roasted nut. Flavors of mango, papaya, butterscotch and lemon pie. Ends with a 35-40 second finish with butterscotch notes. Guessed this right because my wife brought it. My favorite wine of the night but neck and neck with a Le Petite Haut Lafitte.

Wonderful nose, but tasted a bit light. Perhaps past its prime.

Golden yellow in glass. Aromas of yellow apple, oak, butter and pineapple. Pronounced nose and generous fruit, although the round mouthfeel due to melo and the oak is a little too evident. Medium acidity and long finish.

Just a tad under the bottle we had a couple of weeks ago at 93+. Enjoyed with seafood stuffed mushrooms and a great pink brandy sauce as an app followed by stuffed flounder in the same pink brandy sauce. Yum! Honeysuckle, cream, lemon, a little Granny Smith apple, too. A kiss of oak and vanilla rounds it out. Very good acidity remaining so I just ordered 3 more bottles to try over the next year or so.....decent qpr in the …

Probably the best bottle of this I've ever had. I normally disagree with Dunnick and I still don't think this is 100 pts but it's pretty damn good right now. Sweet cream, hint of soft melted butter, white flowers, a little oak in the background, touch of lemon and more cream. Wonderful! Went with pistachio encrusted grouper, just spectacularly!

Really delicious with great balance. More on the elegant side and very pleasing. Best right upon opening.

Best at the pnp....fruit is vibrant, lemon, decent acidity, a little kiss of oak and the wine is most balanced. Over 1-2 hours it falls apart just a little and develops a dullness. If it held itself all together longer, this could have been a 92-93.

This round and oaky wine is drinking fine right now, but it's a bit too diffuse for my taste. I’m never quite sure what I’ll get with a Hartford - some have been dense and layered, others (like this one) seem more woodsy and creamy. This has plenty of flavor; I just wish it had more nuance and energy. Light yellow in color; full in body; somewhat muted nose of lemon meringue pie, brioche, and pear. Tastes of cantaloupe, marzipan, …
