Fresh red cherries, strawberries and a black fruit note as well on the nose. Some cola, spice and vanilla. The palate adds raspberries and stewed fruit, with copious spice. Medium plus acidity and fine, medium tannins hold the structure for a remarkably sustained finish. I might have waited on this for a bit more development, but it's already established. Two hours later this morphs into an alcoholic bomb, then settles to integrated fruit and chocolate. What complexity and evolution.
