I like the ripe, soft fruit, but this is now ready and unlikely to yield great complexity. Nice elegant balance on the palate, with well handled acidity.

Such a pretty colour and creamy and raspberry nose with undergrowth notes in the background. Very light on its feet; elegant and delicious.

A deep purple hue with an interesting nose of black olive, dried meat, leather and some black cherry. The body has high acidity, with smooth but long tannins, but lacks structure, making the flavours blend a bit too much. Still, a very good wine.

Australia Day Tasting 2014 (Lindley Hall, Victoria, London, UK) : Dark ruby in colour, the nose is really forward with a good mix of bell pepper, red cherry and vanilla, chocolate and some blackcurrant. Soft ripe red fruits on the palate, and the peppery spice gives it weight, despite being fairly light. The finish is quite drying and there is a slightly metallic character which is a bit off-putting ***
