Northern Rhones at Collin's (Chicago, IL) : I found the nose on this very off-putting with funky, almost melted plastic-like notes over oak, caramel and some red fruits. Palate was a bit more pleasant with very ripe red fruits, earth and more oak, but this felt too extracted and clunky.
