Nice summer food wine. Balanced between some acidity/freshness and a bit of yellow orchard burst on finish. Think I prefer some other Timorassos i've tried.

Such a treat. Expansive orchard fruit, simultaneously rich and crisp, with the right amounts of acid and minerality in this balanced, beguiling beauty. Texturally rich as well, coating the mouth with its warmth. Impressively long finish.

Sottofondo di Idrocarburi e pietra focaia. ben bilanciato e piacevole con struttura che consente abbinamenti di buona importanza; bello anche il finale con richiami fruttati e aromatici. Buon potenziale di invecchiamento.

Blind Tasting Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in an "Old World" Style (Holiday Inn - Skokie IL) : Tasted double blind. Slightly tropical fruit character, yet no particularly rich. Medium+ weight, a good sense of brightness, good length. and balance. I thought this a Burgundy Village level wine.

Vinetasters: (mostly) Oregon chardonnay and pinot noir (Skokie, IL) : Served double blind. A slight bit of reduction on the nose; a relatively neutral and nondescript wine. In some sense, this could have been anything, but there was a little something here that didn't feel too chardonnay-like to me. Somewhat disjoint acidity and a bit clumsy, with a little more alcohol than I would have liked to see.

Pale medium gold. Floral notes, yellow fruit, apple, tangerine, some nuts, bitter almond and spice. Full-bodied, with medium-level acidity, an oily texture and very good length. Bitter finish. Unrewarding at this youthful state, but good potential. Hold. 90+(?) for now.
