A great drop! The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle.

Very enjoyable. It’s fully integrated and is smooth as silk.

The bottle should have been opened on or slightly past the cellar date, 2018 or slightly earlier. We opened the wine in 2023. Quite honestly, it would be a good cooking wine.

Ooooh this is a good ‘un. Plums, dark berries, olives, dried herbs, eucalyptus. Largely savoury. Fine felty mouth coating tannin steps it up, fresh wash of acidity, and plenty of length.

Let's get one thing straight from the off, this can be had for AUD$18. Now close your eyes and taste it again. If this doesn't drink like a $35+ wine I'll give up alcohol forever, shave my legs and take up ballet dancing. I wonder what discount I could get on a pallet?

Also had the 09 last year and loved it with a slight mintiness this vintage is lacking. Fruit is powerful and ripe. Still fresh, a good wine to cellar I reckon, just not expecting the wow of the '9

Dark opaque purple with purple hue Blackberry (shiraz) blackcurrent (cabernet), wet eucalyptus forest, cedar and vanilla oak, cigar box, slight black olive and smooth dark chocolate/mocha tannins... I'll be interested to see where age takes it...

Delicious Bernoota!!! The 09 I tried last year was good but this one has better fruit and is drinking sensational now. Give it another year or so I think value for money this one will be an absolute winner....
