Cave du Marmandais La Loge

No formal notes on this guy, but the overall impression was poor. The nose had a "musty basement" quality and it really had no flavor to speak of on the palate. If one held it in the mouth for an exceptionally long time, some dark fruit flavors could be detected. The structure was surprisingly nice, with balanced medium acid and smooth, medium-intensity tannins. It is what it is for $7.50. "Average," 76/100.
